More CharactersHere is a sneak preview of some of the characters from Gearbox the Alien 2. Keep in mind that some of these characters and names are subject to change.
Cal is Gearbox’s evil second cousin, out for revenge… again. He already has most of the leaders of planet Marissi under his thumbs (?), but will not rest until he achieves complete and total world domination.
Blue is Gearbox’s new sidekick. He is a blue Blokhead who has been ostracized from the others because of his blue color and his since of righteousness. Consequently, he is picked on a lot. He is awfully sensitive and prone to emotional displays.
Dr. Dork is Blue’s father. He is a successful, albeit busy, doctor. Blue often wishes that his father could spend more time with him.
Leader of all the Blokheads. His forces helped steal of Gearbox’s gears in both games. He has conspired with Cal to take over Marissi.
Boss Blokhead is training the brightest of the Blokheads to be his special bodyguards and his elite police force. They actually show some signs of intelligence (gasp!) and aggressively hunt down those who get in their way.
Arbez used to be the king of Arbezania, until the cruel Predigree brothers overthrew him. Now he is forced to toil with his hamster brethren in poorly lit mines. However, that has not quelled the rumors that he is planning an uprising to restore the former government… Riff and Raff-The Predigree Brothers
The feared and hated Predigree brothers overthrew the government in Arbezania and renamed the country Predignea. Their questionable actions have angered many, such as their policy of putting dissidents to work in the mines. Many believe that an outside source is supporting their regime…
The youngest of the Predigree brothers is also the most carefree. He isn’t what you’d call dependable, because he ignores his duties and does whatever he wants instead. His current hobby is air hockey, and he uses any excuse he can find to go play it.
Raff is the older of the two, and definitely the smarter of the two. He winds up doing all the important stuff. Raff gets upset when nobody remembers his name, because people sometimes think his name is Ruff. “Why can’t people remember that my name is Raff? I mean, it’s not that hard. Riff. Raff. Riff. Raff. Calling me ‘Ruff’ because I am a dog is an insult. Now, if they were calling me ‘Ruff’ because they thought I was tough, that would be another story…”
Strange little furballs who are known for the fact that each one calls him or herself “Mr. McFuzzy”. They are also in the habit of talking in the third-person. This leads to some confusing conversations for outsiders, like, “Hello, Mr. McFuzzy. Mr. McFuzzy hasn’t seen Mr. McFuzzy in a long time. Did you see Mr. McFuzzy today? Mr. McFuzzy looks exhausted. Mr. McFuzzy thinks Mr. McFuzzy hasn’t been getting enough sleep lately.” Etc., etc.. They are usually quite shy and timid (some even run away when confronted). However, you don’t want to get them mad because they fight with the spirit and tenacity of something ten times their size. Home
