Actually a friend of mine sent me his collection of Internet video game MIDIs and I've been picking MIDIs from that for several of my Trainwrecks. Stil, the more, the merrier!

haha this is epic. its just a shame that windows media player is my only program that can play midis. everything else fucks up. in fact my PC nearly died when I tried to play the first midi. don't know why winamp is so shit and cant play midis anymore. it used to be fine especially given the fact ive got plug ins installed to play NES, SNS, GB and so on audio files.
anyways great work. listening to them all now. i remember back in the day when i was like "FUCK CDS!" and would just listen to midi versions of songs.
also the NOW THATS WHAT I CALL MIDI cover- what the fuck is that from? i loled

i'd use foobar2000 with
i'd use foobar2000 with foo_midi, use bassmidi output and pick a cheesy old soundfont. 1mgm.sf2 and OPL-3_FM_128M.sf2 are ideal.
What in name of god are you
What in name of god are you talking about?
For someone being on a site
For someone being on a site with technically minded people about nostalgia around shameless 90s klik creations i'm disappointed you never took the time to check the reply tree where I was giving a suggestion on playing back midis, parsing that suggestion and using google-fu to realize i'm talking about a different media player being used with a midi plugin for that player and a suggestion on top of that for imitating the sound of a Sound Blaster AWE64 or a Sound Blaster Pro v2/16 running in a Windows environment.
This is because he's using winamp which is sadly deprecated since the AOL merger and the last of nullsoft departing years ago. Infact the original author of WinAMP's midi plugin created Foobar2000...
Oh right. I got really
Oh right. I got really confused when i saw all that OPL-3_FM_128M.sf2
Sorry to nitpick,but it says
Sorry to nitpick, but it says "Zelda 3:The adventure of Link" while it should say Zelda 2.

calling the best game in the series the subtitle of the worst game of the series is one of the most critical mistakes you'll make in your life
What? Zelda II is ace.

Seconded. Also, this
Seconded.
Also, this collection is great :D :D :D
worst may be subjective, but
worst may be subjective, but consider this is only in the Zelda series and we're not counting CDi here
it may be a good game, but it is the worst game of the series.
I dunno, I definitely dig
I dunno, I definitely dig Zelda 1 more, but I really kind of hated Twilight Princess. I mean, comparing the two is kind of ridiculous, but based on play time alone I have definitely played Zelda 2 way more, and that was pretty recently too (in the past 5 years.)
Also, Smash Bros. Link's move set came from Zelda 2, so that's a bonus.
