The series finale of Gravity Falls is this Monday, and as a long-time superfan, I decided to throw this game jam to celebrate! We'll be jamming from 12 PM today to 11:59 PM February 28th (both EST), because I JUST DON'T WANT TO LET GO, GUYS! Also I wanna see some more entries from you guys.

As you may or may not know, Gravity Falls is an animated show about two twins roughing it up at the great uncle's roadside attraction for the summer, and deals mostly in MYSTERIES, MOOSTERIES, MASTERIES, and MOISTERIES. As such, games can include A CENTRAL MYSTERY, CYPHERS, PUZZLES, SYMBOLS, and other WEIRD JUNK.

But of course the above is only a small sampling of the wonders of Gravity Falls! Your game can also include:

  1. FAMILY
  2. FRIENDS
  3. FRIENDS b/w FAMILY
  4. PIGS
  5. GOOFY SWEATERS
  6. COMEDY (especially COMEDY BASED AROUND BEING A JERK)
  7. CRAZY SCHEMES/SCAMS
  8. the beautiful Pacific Northwest landscape
  9. ANNOYING SCHEDULING
  10. GAY COPS?? GAY COPS!!
  11. and WACKY FAKE TV

    And that's just for a start! Whatever you feel fits in with Gravity Falls is fair game. Don't forget to upload your games here (like I forgot to link that in the first place). Have lots of fun, and remember: BUY GOLD!

Here's an introduction to some of Gravity Falls' "WACKY FAKE TV". If you're at all interested in checking out the series I'd advise against watching the "Ducktective Season Finale" video that's set to play afterwards though, as it contains spoilers.

These are some very good clips!

I haven't found the time/energy/motivation lately to make my fake TV game, which makes me feel bad because this event had a pretty low turnout. I do hope to make the game at some point though, maybe this weekend.
