The Klik of the Month Klub meets right here on this very website on the third Saturday of every month at 4pm Pacific Time (taking daylight savings into consideration) for a two hour Klik & Play Showdown. Everyone who participates gets two hours to create something from scratch in Klik & Play. Abusing the stock objects is encouraged. If you really loathe Klik & Play you can use whatever game development platform you want. Two hours is a pretty tight time limit, though, so choose wisely!

Klik & Play is absolutely free to download, and learning it takes minutes, so everyone can get in on the action. Want to talk to your fellow Klikwreckers? Join us on IRC -- server irc.freenode.net, channel #glorioustrainwrecks. Join the mayhem!

For more information, check out the KotM N00B FAQ.

POLL

The game that I make during this KotMK should be called:

  1. Bejowled, as originally promised
  2. World Beard Championships: Bearded Vengeance
  3. Beardworld: World of Beards
  4. Beard Beard Action Beard

(note: no matter what you vote I'm making my game be about beards)

Make a compilation

Action Beard World Trilogy, four minutes of beards flying past superimposed over nuclear explosions whilst the title scrolls past.

How about BEARD! A Motherfucking Space Opera, featuring the space ghost of Luciano Pavarotti?

Quest Befitting a Royal Scorpion

I was not aware of the beard theme, but if you look closely, you will see the beard of my heart and soul bristling with warmth. (and one on the ending screen)

This might be the worst thing I've ever created.

ed: oops, wall obstacleness was off.

Something about shooting ships. I forget the name.

Use video game controls to move your steel riding jetbiker to destroy the engine in the evil spaceship that hasn't been finished yet. Because the workers were on strike.

EDIT: THIS GAME IS GUARANTEED TO GIVE YOUR CHILDREN THE SHITS. SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO BE CAREFUL PLAYING IN A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE TO AVOID MUCH EMBARRASSMENT TO YOUR FAMILY AND THE REQUIRED RITUAL SUICIDE THAT SUCH SITUATIONS BRING AFTERWARDS.

the amazing manspider!

it's the amazing (beardy) manspider!

you are a very hungry and very beardy manspider...

you must eat flies to replenish your health!

click on the -uhh-- leaf pods to throw your swingy web thing and catch flies.

the more flies you eat the longer you live and the more points you can score.

Almost done, just need to

Almost done, just need to fix a minor glitch, and then I'll upload it.

Edit: It's as good as I'll get it, so I'm uploading now!

Mirror Universe Is Complete

And now, I present for your consideration: MIRROR UNIVERSE.

Instructions: Click to start, use arrow keys to move.

By the way, Also Sprach Zarathustra (the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey) is playing on the TV right now. It may be a sign.

Oh, man, I am totally

Oh, man, I am totally impressed that you spent nearly 7 hours doing that, but I'll bet you could have avoided the combinatorial programming explosion with some deftly-applied value-setting trickery.
