The Klik of the Month Klub meets right here on this very website on the third Saturday of every month at 4pm Pacific Time (taking daylight savings into consideration) for a two hour Klik & Play Showdown. Everyone who participates gets two hours to create something from scratch in Klik & Play. Abusing the stock objects is encouraged. If you really loathe Klik & Play you can use whatever game development platform you want. Two hours is a pretty tight time limit, though, so choose wisely!

Klik & Play is absolutely free to download, and learning it takes minutes, so everyone can get in on the action. Want to talk to your fellow Klikwreckers? Join us on IRC -- server irc.freenode.net, channel #glorioustrainwrecks. Join the mayhem!

Guys, I don't know how active I'm going to be able to be in this one! My wife is working at the theatre and I am more or less on BABY DUTY with a young boy who is increasingly less interested in staying in one place and not banging on my laptop.

But I will GIVE IT MY ALL FOR SCIENCE.

Bugfixes

So I fixed a couple of things -- the baby not bouncing on the title screen, and the Cheery Repetitive Music repeating way too frequently, to start. But the real reason I went back was to rework the "you ran out of time" ending to better reflect the realities of fatherhood. (At the time that I put that screen in, the mechanics weren't very well nailed down, and the "too cranky" ending hadn't been conceived of.) I'm much happier with it now.

A one-button game, use keyboard or mouse to change the water canon angle

This is neat! Kind of hard

This is neat! Kind of hard to play with my trackpad, though. I like that if you whip the mouse around fast enough you can hop over the barriers.
