The lack of collision, lack of destruction of instances, and the reaction that the object has to projectiles made this seem like a economic exchange rather than a violent interaction. I felt like I was throwing currency at goods and receiving a quantity based on how much currency I threw. The exchange didn't destroy the currency, it just flowed through them in order to trigger manufacture.
I treat titles and descriptions the same way I treat the theming of the mechanics with graphics, narratives and sounds. Some artists simply number their works to deal with imaginative critics such as myself. So joke or not, this is how I ended up interpreting the piece.
