That sucks, my server should be serving it up at full speed, and there's lots of other seeders... Do you know which seeds you're connected to? Is it still bad, or did it pick up after a little while?
There's an option to hide them in the Sort menu, if you're on 64-bit. I see a "16-bit application incompatible" error, rather than a "insufficient resources" error, though, so that's kind of :/
It's totally worth installing XP on VirtualBox, for the "dusty kart" feature alone.
I just finally got around to downloading this yesterday, and it's pretty much the best thing ever. Great job on everything, everyone! Keep on keepin' on!
I'm pestering the other PTT dudes to write something about it, so that might help getting the word out.
That 450 MB download would take a literal year (not literally) up here in Alaska. I have 99% of the games, is there any way we could have seperate downloads for the compiler, mustic, and games? It'd be way awesome for all of us who get 14 kb/sec on a GOOD day. =)
It's possible that in the nebulous future, I'll build a version of the menu that can download and install games on demand. That probably won't happen for a while, though.
Just uploading the menu without the games as it is is probably not worth doing, since it expects a very particular directory layout, and I promise you'd rather wait for the download than build it by hand. It's conceivable that I could write a new script that built it for you given a directory full of zips, but it'd be way less effort for me to just mail you a CD-R with the installer on it :)

You could have it mirrored
You could have it mirrored on Fileplanet (appropriate trainwreck filehost) then order a cd (do they still do that anymore?)
