Yeargh, that's what I get for using OGG! (I had transcoded it to attempt to track the guitar part for Frets on Fire, and for some reason picked that instead of the original.) It will totally play if you install ffdshow.
Oh, man. Frets on Fire. Back when it was relatively new, I tracked a really terrible medium difficulty version of Lemon Demon's "The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny." Haven't played that for years, but I'd totally reinstall it for canyon.mid.
I kind of want to have an event where people track terrible songs for UltraStar or Frets on Fire or whatever -- like a musical Knytt of the Month Klub -- but from my limited experience it kind of seems to take a long time (like, more than two hours) and a lot of tedious, unrewarding effort.

The music's not playing for me! It's a good thing I keep a copy of v-canyon.mp3 on me at all times.
Yeah, not playing for me
Yeah, not playing for me either. Embedding music in Construct is tricky stuff. And I didn't know that Virt made a canyon.mid cover!

I will post a fixed version ASAP.

This is why game engines should never rely on DirectShow/Windows Media Player to play audio. Game Maker and Construct do this. That is bad.

I got pretty good at that
I got pretty good at that track. I wish I'd had the skillz to make a better version of On To Grasstown...
I also started but never finished adaptations of Legacy from Full Throttle and Delta Hi-Score by Rob Hubbard. Memories!

But I really want an excuse to be scored on my William Shatner impersonation at parties, so I persevere.
Speaking of impersonations,
Speaking of impersonations, for some time now I've wanted to make (beatbox?) impressions of various Klik & Play sound effects using my own voice.
