Hey, just wanted to tell you guys about this program I found called 3D Rad. Judging by the tutorial, it's easy to use. Who knows, I may make something in it in the next few days...
I've been thinking about 3D gamemaking too... I'm not sure I'm ready for Unity quite yet (went through a few tutorials, didn't get very far), Virtual Reality Studio is neat-looking, but the scripting feels like assembly (set var0-9, vis group 8, show text 3!), and my experiments with RayGame Designer II were intensely frustrating. I really like how friendly 3D Rad looks. Almost like Unity + Klik & Play?
Looking forward to trying this tool/seeing what you come up with!
unity is super ill guys. I totally recommend it. Once you get a few prefabs saved from the asset store, you can totally train wreck with the best of them.
That said, I have only done one unitywreck, and it took me like 4 hours. So it might not quite be the speediest wreck.
