Empire Strikes Back
Holy Frak, when I was seven years old (and lived out in a one room cabin in the Arctic, but that's another story) I was given the Game Boy version of Empire Strikes Back for Christmas. It's horrible/amazing gameplay is still etched into my mind.
While on the subject of glitches, this Super Mario Land 2 one was the first I discovered.
