Found this on The Internet Archive the other day.
https://archive.org/details/1078-weird-textures
There it's downloadable as a CD-sized ISO file, but the actual textures are only ~55MB (and are echoed in different formats: JPG, GIF, TGA, IFF, PIC). So I've uploaded the JPG versions of them somewhere hopefully a bit more handy. You should get a little preview of each image, and be able to download them all in a batch or one-by-one.

This is a nostalgia trip!
This is a nostalgia trip! I remember finding websites hosting these textures a decade ago and downloading a bunch. I even used some (slightly modified) in a game called Liam 3000 that I made when I was 15:
I feel like the general vibe of Glorious Trainwrecks was pretty strong with me even then...
Wow!
Wow!

Thanks. It's hard to resist making backgrounds that scroll all over the place when it's as easy as changing a 0 to a 1. I also used the generic explosion animation from the GM6 sprite library (though it was almost certainly taken from somewhere else) and made liberal use of in-engine sound effect processing (mostly flanger).
I just used one of these!
I just used one of these! This is great!
I wanna see someone make
I wanna see someone make some Super Mario 64-esque worlds out of these.
