This is tuned a little too hard for me, but I really like the combination of mechanics! The faux-perspective makes it easier to mentally separate the invader mechanic from the slalom mechanic.
I found that I wasn't able to focus on the aliens and the slalom at the same time. I'm interested in the idea of a game that forces you to switch contexts like that -- not just panickedly looking at two screens periodically to make sure you didn't miss anything, but using a context switch as a narrative moment, game mechanic, or other somehow-significant event.
