Another installment in SoftSoft's venerable "put the thingy into the other thingy" series. This one's an allegorical representation of Alex Hirsch, putting mystery into his kid's cartoon so that folks everywhere and everywhen could enjoy it. It's also the installment that took the longest to make, because I kept adding in these like "unique parser responses" and "Gravity Falls in-jokes". I may update later in the week with more, but for now, just enjoy it for what it is. Remember, you need an interpreter program like Gargoyle or Windows Frotz to play the Z-code file.
SoftSoft's exciting new political adventure is finally here! I hope you American guys are going to vote, or have already voted, or are voting right now. (If the last one, please turn off your phone and get back to voting.)
A spooooky Halloween game! Also included: You Have To Put The Steak In The Dracula.
Title inspired by Healy, music stolen from Castlevania, other things stolen from other places.
A You-Have-to-Put-the-Noun-in-the-Other-Noun game for St. Pat's! Note that I couldn't be bothered to put a leprechaun in this; if that really bugs you for some reason pretend that the backstory for this game involves an epic quest to beat a leprechaun to the rainbow's end.
Note that this does require an interpreter to play. If you're playing from the launcher you should be good to go, but if you're not, try Zoom for the Mac or Gargoyle for Windows.
Can you infiltrate SoftSoft's offices and find out what makes all their games so great? Find out in this new unlicensed adventure! Inspired by Healy! (Dear Healy: I am sorry.)
Yet another entry in the storied "You Have to Put the Noun in the Other Noun" series, this one pays tribute to the late, great Dwayne McDuffie, who died a year ago today. The sharp-eyed will note that this is kind of a sucky tribute to the man, and I'd agree. I wish I could say something witty and profound here, but all I can do is link this and hope that most of you will find it as amusing as I do.
(Oh, and before I forget: You'll need an interpreter to play this game. I recommend Zoom for the Mac, and Windows Frotz or Gargoyle for Windows.)
Yet another entry in the You Have to Put the Ball in the Cup series! Remember, z-code files require an interpreter to play, so pick up Zoom for the Mac, or Windows Frotz or Gargoyle for Windows if you want to play this!
Presenting my 7-in-one Text Adventure Fun Pack! Requires an interpreter to play; check out Windows Frotz or Gargoyle for Windows and Zoom for the Mac! If you are confused by these text adventure things, check out this handy dandy card!
Games included in the fun pack:
You Have to Put the Ball in the Cup: A SoftSoft classic!
You Have to Put the Spider in the Jack-O-Lantern: Just in time for Halloween!
You Have to Put the George Washington in the American Flag: Everyone's favorite piece of Americana interactive fiction!
You Have to Put the Candy Cane in the Stocking: A Holiday classic!
You Have to Put the Indie Game in the Contest: Made especially for IGF!
Delicious Breakfast: From Pirate Kart 2!
Interview with a Rock Star: Made so long ago and is so obscure that it's just like a BRAND NEW GAME!
All of these classic and soon-to-be-classic games are now blorbed up, so that they can include cover art and bibliographic data and stuff!
Also, if you would like to volunteer to get these games running through Parchment or possibly another web-based interpreter program, that'd be great! It'd certainly take a lot off of Mike's workload.
