This zip file from 2003 I just dug up holds the second implementation I ever made of Gravver, a game concept I've returned to a few times over the years including a recent Megazeux version. As far as I can tell, this one never had sound effects.
If you look in the source code, there are some command line flags... I don't remember how it all worked but there seems to have been a GUI editor to make your own levelsets, with a lot of hardcoded keybinds.
