The Klik of the Month Klub meets right here on this very website on the third Saturday of every month at 4pm Pacific Time (taking daylight savings into consideration) for a two hour Klik & Play Showdown. Everyone who participates gets two hours to create something from scratch in Klik & Play. Abusing the stock objects is encouraged. If you really loathe Klik & Play you can use whatever game development platform you want. Two hours is a pretty tight time limit, though, so choose wisely!

Klik & Play is absolutely free to download, and learning it takes minutes, so everyone can get in on the action. Want to talk to your fellow Klikwreckers? Join us on IRC -- server irc.freenode.net, channel #glorioustrainwrecks. Join the mayhem!

Actually I may or may not make it either; I'll be hanging out with friends in Canada for President's Day weekend. I will, of course, do my best.

Okay, this has inspired me.

INTERST8-BIT

Drive around in your fly car whilst dodging and ramming these cats who are after your blood.

Hit enemy cars at top speed to destroy them.
Getting hit by cars at anything other than your top speed will hurt you.
Watch out for walls.
Green box is health.
ESC to quite at almost any time.

PROTIP: You can drive through the diner and knock out the glass but watch out for the support structures.

VIRTUAL SISYPHUS

This game is lovingly ripped from the pages of THE BOOK OF SEQUELS
(I've been meaning to make a "real" version of it for at least a decade.)

You are Sisyphus! Your fate is to use your mouse to roll the boulder to summit of the mountain.

To quote Kafka: ONE MUST IMAGINE SISYPHUS HAPPY.

ATOMIC MUTANT DOES STUFF FOR POINTS CHALLENGE

Shoot fireballs at things! Run and jump as a disturbing little elephant/anteater guy! Fight a moon god!

I didn't really know what I was making until about an hour and a half in, and wasn't even sure if I was going to contribute anything. Apparently I did, though!

Sorry if my trying to connect to the IRC was annoying anyone. I've got an iffy connection right now.

Young Abraham Lincoln In Loooove (In Space)

In this delightful President's Day / Valentine's Day crossover, you play Reanimated Space Lincoln as he evades the tyrannical clutches of Space John Wilkes Booth Presley and tries to send Mary Todd back to her own time! Draw Wilkes Booth Presley's space laser fire towards the confederate flags to free slaves, and collect stovepipe hats to increase your bonus multiplier!

My time living in America as a Canadian has changed me, I think.

LEMMINGS FORCE

Buggy as all get out, but here it is. Nearly an hour late, too.

FLY YOUR SHIP AROUND! RESCUE THE LEMMINGS BY PARKING BRIX NEXT TO THEM (NOT ON THEM). BE A HERO!

Small change here: Not really fixed the floor fall, but made you respawn when you get stuck underground.

The game is still extremely hard, though.

I want to say that I

I want to say that I definitely enjoy Space Lincoln, but it has a major flaw: the score multiplier, while very important as it is the best way to increase your score, is determined a lot more by luck than by skill. It falls too fast to be able to reach it even if you react fast enough most of the time; running back and forth in the center is only a mildly successful tactic in that a lucky game scores easily as many points.

The best way to fix this, I think, would be to make it more of a risk to try to get the hats. Say, on a fixed interval, there would be a warning signal followed by a hat coming out of the top and traveling along a circular path around Space John Wilkes Booth Presley for maybe 2 or 3 revolutions before disappearing. The only way to grab it would be to time a jump just right to rendezvous with the hat in between shots. The multiple revolutions, if set at the right speed, would make certain that you get at least one chance to grab the hat each time, but punish the player for choosing the wrong one.
