Hello!
I made an account to ask this question. I'm sure you could tell that by the title.

How do I run this game? I've really been wanting to play it but I'm not sure what to do. I also see many other fun-looking games on here but I don't know what I'm doing.
Might start making things soon once I grab my footing!
Thanks!
What operating system do you
What operating system do you have. That could be your first problem. It was made in Klik and Play, which is quite an old program.
In general, the easiest way
In general, the easiest way to play the games found on the site is with GloriousTrainwrecks.exe. It takes care of downloading, organizing, searching, and running Windows 3.1 for you. It's pretty great!
Unfortunately, it doesn't pick up a lot of the older games on the site. That used to include games from the second Pirate Kart, but I just made a couple of tweaks to the server to finally fix that! Look under "THE 371-IN-1 KLIK & PLAY PIRATE KART II: KLIK HARDER" -- it should be there.
Please let me know if you run into any problems!
(If you're running on an old 32-bit computer or are willing to run Windows XP in a virtual machine, I'm still really proud of the Pirate Kart II launcher! It has music and awesome splash screens and cracktros and a button that automatically glitches out K&P games and achievements and a special launcher program stolen from a shareware CD that will actually run in Windows 3.1! It's not quite as glorious on modern computers but IT'S STILL PRETTY SWEET.)
I can't find THE 371-IN-1
I can't find THE 371-IN-1 KLIK & PLAY PIRATE KART II: KLIK HARDER - unless I'm just blind!

I'm also not seeing it, it seems like these server tweaks were unsuccessful. :(
Okay. Guess I can play those
Okay. Guess I can play those other games in the meantime while waiting.
Tally ho! (I'm not British.)
You're not blind -- the
You're not blind -- the launcher was intentionally hiding old events. Sorry, wasn't something I could easily check until I got home from work.
We'll do a real fix in the launcher to get rid of this filtering, of course, but in the meantime I hacked together a horrible fix: the server now tells the launcher that the Pirate Kart 2 event isn't node 437, but node 43700000. This sneaks it past the filter and onto your hard drive.
Have fun!
Eureka! It worked! Thank you

Thank you very much!

I'll give the above things a shot, but if they don't work, I'm out of ideas.
