Not much this month. Just a tweaking of Cacophon. Everyone who tried Cacophon liked the noises it made but found the puzzles too difficult, so for my June game I made a sound toy.
This is super neat (reminds me a lot of SimTunes!), but the sound gives out after half a minute on my Mac at work, so I have to not mess with it all day and do work instead :/
I was actually planning on having each ball play on a different pitch (which is sort of the inverse of SimTunes now that I think about it - that program had a different instrument per mover - each color block played a different note).

You might have hit a bug in the OS X implementation of OpenAL https://bitbucket.org/rude/love/issue/475/switch-to-openal-soft-on-os-x
It looks like LOVE will switch to openal-soft (the same implementation used on Linux) in a future release.

Oops, double posted somehow

This feels good to play around with. (I'd love to see a version that just uses the 8 or 12 notes of a scale in place of the sound effects.)
