Glorious Planewrecks is a spin-off site of Glorious Trainwrecks, you can submit sounds/music, how-tos, sprites/graphics/images, games, etc. just like in the MFGG site. The design of the site is all blue.

sounds good but surely all that could just be submitted here...???
sounds and music could be added so long as spindley adds support for that to be attached (which could probably take all of a few minutes), how-tos can be added via the dev diary function (L did that a bunch with his twine macros), sprites, graphics and images can all be uploaded on here again through the file attachment setting and games already go here.
i honestly dont see the point in it, it seems as if it'd just be a waste of a domain and money....
To reiterate: I like the concept of it all, it's cute and all. But does this site REALLY need a sister one? All the things mentioned could just as easily be on this site without anything looking out of place.
The main problem i have with the idea of "Glorious Planewrecks" is the fact that there already exists sites for such things. And people use them. A lot. What would convince those people to use Planewrecks (which seriously has a small chance of being successful) as opposed to places like OpenGameArt? People generally use either simplistic graphics or Klik'n'Play sprites in their games here anyway.
As for music, again, it could easily be put up here. However most people just grab some random midi's off the net, or make their own. Or even go to a place like OpenGameArt where they can acquire music that has a creative commons license?
Simply put, while it's a nice idea and all, I just don't think it'd actually work properly as a separate site. Spindley would probably have to get another server to run it and also another domain. As I mentioned earlier, most of the things you listed can easily be found on a place like OpenGameArt, which is an incredibly popular site.

Just my two cents.
