This is a game where you type the same word over and over again as fast as you can. Like this:
typetypetypetypetypetypetypeytpeytypetypetyeptyeptyeptyettyeptyetpyttypetyeptyeptyeptyytytpeyttypetyeptypetypeytypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypety
see? it's hard.
This started out as a cyber-punk hacking game that I was working on a while ago but which never really got anywhere. So I found it on my computer today and made it into this. Anyway, that's why it looks all computer-y.
I don't know if the mac version works, I haven't been able to test it yet.
edit: it didn't but now.. it does!

How did you find all those hats?
wow?
simply amazing
hats:
the first was with me from the beginning
the second came to me in a dream
the third appeared on my head during a snowstorm
the fourth was given to me by my uncle
the fifth is actually just my hair but it looks like a hat from far away

WOOOW
and the game is off the chain too. I just wanted to keep going, but could only last 18 seconds. It's haaaard. There's no restart button that i know of. I have to exit/reenter.. but I did that a couple times too!
Everyone else, check it for the kewl animation. It's uhh, really innovative and uhh, it spoilers and stuff just for you, pilgrim. That is my favorite part.
This game is very difficult
This game is very difficult to play... I lasted 23844 miliseconds, which I guess includes the intitial full timer. This feels like a potential minigame in the legendary series of youthful anguish, Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing.
Thanks for trying it out
My original intent was to make a game that caused semantic satiation (that weird phenomenon where a word loses it's meaning after you look at it for too long). I think the frantic time limit and cool vector font distracts from that, though. Maybe I'll rework this a little bit.
Ooh, that's a good idea,
Ooh, that's a good idea, about making words lose meaning. I don't think it's so much the time limit or the grfx that distract it, though. Like honestly, I let the time run out after 15 seconds. I just find the /act/ of repeatedly typing so straining and tiresome. Like bam, five seconds of it and I can't take it no more!
