When I was a kid, I had a friend who would torture crabs by pulling their legs off and slowly crushing parts of their bodies with rocks, and then he would laugh when he saw them die............. I wonder what he's up to these days.
I lived on the water as a kid and would push fire-crackers into fiddler-crab holes. The curiosity of youth isn't so much cruel as it is inconsiderate and confused.
I enjoyed how much the subject-matter is explicitly stated and suggested in the right-margin. I like the idea of making a game in order to consider the fantasy of living as a crab in more detail. I wonder if it worked, but I'm certain that it did. The water-colors look great too.
depends on the crab, though. like fiddler crabs? they're just a bunch of claw waving, mud digging, macho-competitive bastards! I might like to be a hermit crab though... it would be nice to have that sort of freedom of choice in terms of what you look like.
It's interesting when a character is silly in a likeable way. What's the difference between a character being silly in a likeable way, and a character being silly in an unlikeable way? I'm not sure. Crabpot has some completely cheesy characteristics, such as the claw fixation is most of the time, but generally you can always see that they's a complex and not one-dimensional character.

I read the writing in the margin on a more sarcastic level, sort of like the person who wrote it is supposed to be enthusiastically missing the point.
