Game File:

It was a normal day until you were kidnapped by some mysterious scientists who were intent on testing metamorphosis-inducing substances on you. After you drank one of these unknown liquids while trying to escape your captors, you found yourself transformed into a large skunk and started to have some weird ideas...

Toilet humor warning: game may be unsuitable (or suitable) for all audiences.

Mephimorphosis is a weird arcade-y action game where your goal is to defeat all the enemies on 5 varied levels. For your newly discovered skunk form, the people can't pose much threat, but they run away quickly and the time runs out!

Main features:
- All graphics made from scratch.
- Five different locations and a story intro / tutorial.
- Combo and scoring system that makes the game addicting.

Instructions and tips:
The level ends after defeating all enemies or running out of time. You can also destroy property (potted plants and screens) to get more points or increase your combo. You combo increases when you hit two targets within three seconds (the time it takes for the combo meter to fade out). The bonus score significantly increases with longer combos. The score values are:

Enemy defeated: 20 points.
Thing destroyed: 10 points.
Time left: 30 points per second.
Combo bonus: 20 to 1500 points.

Good luck!

What next?
The game was originally going to be bigger and longer. The current content was supposed to be just one of the game modes. That's why there's no further plot after the tutorial. But after playing what I made so far, I decided that it's too fun to keep for myself. And other people liked it too. I may continue it at some point, with more levels and more sophisticated gameplay... so far, you have this. Enjoy!

Played the first level

Played the first level without reading the description - was pleasantly surprised haha! The funky music adds a nice vibe to it. Sort of like a reverse Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
