PURE SELFINDULGENCE AND GAMEMAKING AT ITS CRAPPEST CURTESY OF YOUR'S TRULY
I wanted to create something resonant and emotional. So I did the exact opposite
"If you can't handle me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best" — Voltaire
Update: 21 April - I think this Mac build works. If you want to see the reference pictures of Taylor that the game is based on, you should download in addition, the PC build. Please tell me if this keeps happening!
Sequel to January 2015 and October 2015. Originally made in 2015, however, the flash drive it was stored on was corrupted, so I re-made a lot of what was there.
Loosely based on embellishments about the singer Taylor Swift's life during February 2015 and conspiracy theories about her on 4chan and real world events. Included is a folder with pictures I found on the internet related to each day in February of 2015 that I found in 2015. To limit the file size, I took some screen shots of videos I saved.
There is nazi symbolism in the game, but to be clear, I am not in support of fascism.
Controls:
[Up, Down, Left, Right] - moves character
[Control] - interact with doors, people, and other objects
[>] - go to the next day
[<] - go to the previous day
[P] - password enter
(enter "Feb" and date
number to go to different
days, ex. Feb25, or Feb9)
A "puzzle" game based around trial and error and being unfair and unintuitive. There could be an invisible button you have to press, a wall that is fake and lets you pass through it or a glitch you have to find that lets you fall through the floor. You wont know if any of these are the right answer until you try them.
I used art that I made 6 months ago so i'm sorry for the quality but I couldn't be bothered making new art.
If the game lags or is running slow try to use the shaderless version. if not don't play the shaderless version because that's not the intended experience.
Based off classic Shakespearean literature, ncrecc presents to you, a boring level, actually 9 of them but they're short and intentionally boring, tell me if you find any bad stuff like SGEs or wallswims or such, inspired by this thing.
2/1/18: Some dialogue is better now. Fixed a minor voidscreen.
2/8/18: WaDF song now properly loops. Fixed a nagging warp issue. Fixed a minor inconsistency with the grass in The Vendor's Key.
2/24/18: This gets rid of a particular flag warp that doesn't do anything helpful.
keep your little ingrate extant for as long as you care to, my lord
Hi! I did this event today instead of 18 days from now because I felt inspired. It's 30 games that I made in 2 hours. Warning: even though I felt inspired, these games are pretty much all horrible. Enjoy!
