A flickgame adaptation of The Abandoned Sandal. Apologies to terrytheplatypus for the numerous scenes omitted due to space constraints (but hopefully you're down with me making this in the first place).
I used hugs' mod to dither a few of the later frames (but the first two frames were hand-dithered, horrifyingly enough). I also experimented with an alternative colour palette, but ultimately decided against this. When I put forward the idea to fellow flickgamer Matthew Gatland, he suggested it might not be a flickgame any more if I changed the palette, which concerned me more than it should have.
A collaborative flickgame made in 15-30 minute turns.
Frames 1-4 by Matthew Gatland
Frames 5-8 by Alice Gatland
Frames 9-12 by Kate Anwen
Frames 13-16 by me
I did the bulk of this the night of Flik of The Month Flub #1, but put aside finishing it until the day after because the art was so much work. Then I got sick for a week, crushing my plans. I only ended up finishing it today.
Colour scheme drawn from "I Let The Sunglasses Do The Talking", then ruined by adding additional colours.
A follow-up to therein lies, created while listening to Chrissy and Clyde talk about flickgames.
My attempt at an abstract flickgame.
This is an accurate description of an average life from birth to death. We leave all interpretation to the viewers.
Another misleading thumbnail and another Flickgame, this one is in the eyes of your favorite Raphael as he goes through summer doing whatnot. A kinetic novel with no branches but tons of action, this one is sure to entertain. It's a little quiet though so I'll add some BGM attachments if needed/wanted. Nothing too serious, but pure fun for all. Enjoy.
Inspired by these other very good games which you may have played or even made depending on what person you are:!

It is partially an adventure game, but you can't read most of the text because of bad handwriting and eye straining color combinations; so don't try too hard to read them. If you find something illegible, give up and just use your imagination instead of getting frustrated.
