Game was made over an hour and a half using construct 2 and paint.net
Output is HTML 5, included in the zip is a minimal webserver so it will run offline.
Just run the rungame.bat to start it up, in internet explorer no less!

I've always wanted to make Contra with Mouseaim, but life has a way of getting in the way. Fortunately, I had an excuse to hack together this game during the few evenings when I wasn't totally worn out from my jorb.
Play until you die, basically. That's a good life philosophy.
Alright this game is mostly pointless. Just try to get to the top with a combination of shooting the walls and exploiting glitches in Multimedia Fusion's platforming engine.
CONTROLS: arrow keys to move, shift to jump, ctrl to shoot, crashing into a wall while on the descending part of a jump while holding shift and then probably pressing the arrow key in the opposite direction of the wall immediately after collision/during collision to wall jump, which can be repeated as many times as you want if you figure it out

SOUND EFFECTS: The sound of the gun shooting is some guy pronouncing a click, the kind that are found mainly in African languages. The sound of a block being destroyed is a voiceless velar fricative, which is a German ch or a Russian x or a Chinese h or an Arabic kh probably or whatever transliteration is being used at the time or Scottish ch. Yeah.
Okay have fun.

I made a game about fighting other people in the desert with guns with only one bullet in each of your guns.
First Player to shoot the other wins. Fireworks give you your one bullet back.
DISCLAIMER: This took four hours to make, which is inexcusable. The only consolation in this is that it's a much higher quality game than I normally turn in.
My original idea was to make some kind of EXTREME TENNIS game where the ball was a grenade and the players were carrying machine guns, but because I couldn't be bothered to put in a net or introduce bounce physics and stuff I ended up making GRENADE PONG instead.
Each player is equipped with a gun and a forcefield. Like Pong, the aim of the game is to bat the grenade off the opposite side of the screen. Unlike pong, you can only deflect the ball when your forcefield is activated, and your forcefield only stays active for about 1/3rd of a second each time you use it (and takes just over 1 second to recharge). If you touch the bomb while your forcefield is inactive, you lose instantly.
But wait - there's more! You can't move and fire. Your characters will automatically aim towards each other, but while you hold down the Fire key you will be able to adjust your aim by pressing your move up/move down keys. Bullets will not kill you, but will hinder your movement around the court - your forcefield will not protect you from this! Bullets do not affect the bomb in any way.
CONTROLS:
Player 1: WASD to move, G to shoot, Y to use forcefield
Player 2: Arrow keys to move, Page Down to shoot, Page Up to use forcefield
You only play one round at a time and the game will automatically return to the title screen after each round.
