Frozen Planetini

planetini.png

This is a quick game, inspired primarily by forum posts describing ZiGGURAT, a game I have not yet played or seen footage of. It is also a continuation of the themes of Make Me a Moon and Satellalune, as well as the gravity-well aiming oddities of Super Calamity Annie Galaxy.

Your tiny planet has grown icy as its sun grows old. To get closer to its sun, you'll have to float through hostile Gellitron territory. Use the North Pole Turret to bounce shots off your planet's shiny exterior to launch them at foes! Red shots do three times the damage of yellow shots.

Click and drag above the planet to fire shots. The farther you click, the higher they will arc.

Playin' with fire!

Playin' with fire.png

Use the space bar to shoot fire and score points. The fire will then bounce around the room- don't get hit by it or you will lose a life! You will get another life every 5 seconds survived. Every once in a while (varies by difficulty) a powerup will fly by allowing you to freeze the fire in place.

Solar Rain

"I lost ten minutes to this damn 'game'. Not even an achievement for making it look like a letter S."

This is a simple simulation inspired by this article, the browser game World of Sand, and several of my previous games, especially Super Calamity Annie Galaxy. Click and drag the two planets to alter the path of the stream of water emanating from a distant sun.

RotoBuggy

rotobuggy.png

This is a one-button game of avoiding danger in a distant moon base. While its control scheme is familiar - press button to make the spinning craft move forward - the wrinkle is that it keeps spinning even while moving, so you'll be constantly moving in wide arcs. Be careful, and watch out for those cannons!

This is loosely inspired by the Taito arcade game Volfied in scenario.

Saucer Sandy's Meteor Melee

saucersandysmeteormelee.png

This is a quick arena-type game featuring Saucer Sandy, a character from an old game of mine who is evidently down on her luck lately. At least she's got a new weapon to try out, though.

Score points by harmlessly blowing up your two friends and collecting desserts until you get tagged. But don't blow yourself up! That would be completely unconscionable.

Use the arrow keys to move and Space to drop mines.

Renardes

renardes.png

"Get out of the room, alien-zorching meatheads, because you'll need your noggins to bust this conundrum [...] Four mice out of five!"

"I didn't know it was possible [...] for a person to die of confusion, until I watched my brother succumb to this atrocious game."

"Never before has a puzzle game actually been ABOUT puzzle games, you know?"

Renardes is here! Unfortunately, most of its instructions were lost in the depths of space from which this fiendish and completely original puzzle came.

Use the arrow keys to move the double-square frame, and Z or Space to change the covered tiles in a red-yellow-green cycle.
