I donated a custom Knytt Stories level to Spring Thing this year, and now, a few months after the comp finished, the level is done. Special thanks to B Minus Seven for picking the prize!
Anyway, At the Zoo is about Juni searching for her friends at, well, the zoo. It's a pretty short piece (only twenty screens) and there are no challenging bits. Instead it's focused around atmosphere and little overheard snatches of dialogue. Give it a try, I bet you'll like it!
(Music is a shortened version of this track.)
So here's a tiny Knytt Stories level I just finished today. It's called House Key and it's a gloomy little number. Won't take long to play; just remember that you can enter doors by pressing down!
So here's a new Knytt Stories level for the people who play that game. It's called A Visit to Grandmother's, and you can guess the plot from the title. It's built around a tune from Two Headed Dino by Ben Bartlett (the tune is, I mean), but I added a short track by Incompetech to the beginning to keep it from being too repetitive. I hope you guys like it!
Waiting in the Rain is a short (about five screens or so) Knytt Story based on a song by Lee Rosevere called Waiting in the Rain. It's about getting to a friend's place in time for dinner, and also the friendship between two women. I hope you like it.
Hey guys! It's been a while. I sorta lost my game-making mojo this month, but I still managed to finish up a pretty short Knytt Stories level. It's called The Star Festival, and it's about a Yuletide Knytt festival suspiciously similar to Christmas. It was originally made for a level competition on the Nifflas forums, but I ran way late with it. No screenshots because I'm feeling lazy.
ALSO: I submitted a game to the 7th Annual New Years Mini-comp, called You Have to Put the Baby New Year in the Champagne Bottle. It's pretty much what you would expect. Hope to see you guys again soon!
Happy Birthday to You is a game I was meaning to submit to the big Birthday Trainwreck Jam but didn't finish until quite recently. I was checking out some of my unfinished Knytt levels and realized my birthday was coming up soon, so I made the three screens it needed to be done, did some spit and polish, and voila! I consider the starting screens to be some of my best work, so much so I picked a screenshot from a later point in the level so as not to ruin the surprise. Somehow contains two endings despite being short as hell. Enjoy!
Believe or not, but this is the very first Knytt Story I started working on. I used it as a sort of practice space in the very beginning, and it branched out from there. Anyway, this is about a knytt who makes a trip back home, but there are some surprises along the way. Hope you have fun.
Yet another Knytt Story from me. This level was made for a recent competition on Nifflas's forums (theme: isolation). It's got kind of a Christmas-y feel to it, I think. Anyway, enjoy!
THE TOPICAL GAME EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY
