Submission to Grid Grind I never got around to finishing!
Involves Clark Stanley in a mysterious industrial building using a ray gun.
multiplayer game for two player

Pippin Barr made Sibilant Snakelikes - https://pippinbarr.github.io/sibilant-snakelikes/ - many classic and recent games as ssseen through a sssnake-like lenssss. The Shadow of the Colossus and Sensible Soccer versions I liked especially (You should check out his blog as well - http://pippinbarr.com/ )
Anyway, this is basically one of them, but Asteroids, banging once again on my love of x/y inertia in games. Press arrow keys to start the snake thrusting and hunting down the apple/asteroid.
One of my first experiments in generated sound, which I like because having all graphics and sound and gameplay in a single file reminds me of the old days of type-in games in computer magazines.
spin. eat candy. screen wrap. embody a snake. eat the special candy to be attractive to the other candies. sate your candylust and roar with euphoria. and then stop.

Single player or Multiplayer!
It even plays itself!
Thanks to Nikki and Sergio for talking me out of having a violent image in this game!
Fruit-flavored candysnake game.
EDIT: Game should now be actually playable... Maybe.
a 2 player zzt arcade game.
Run the other player into your trail or even their own!

DOWN: green player rotate left
UP: green player rotate right
LEFT: red player rotate left

No spamming keys. That's cheating.
Reload the world to play again.
This is the next official version of the Oregon Trail!
No it isn't.
You are on a mission to traverse the Oregon Trail in order to claim some land in Oregon! Along the way, you'll face dreaded obstacles such as flowers, small rocks, and elephants. Watch out for diseases like cholera and dysentery, too! Press the space bar to shoot and the arrow keys to steer, most other things you'll need to know are mentioned in-game.
P.S. Real Life Mode is only put in the game as a joke, as it makes the amount of miles traveled increase 100 times slower than in Arcade Mode. So just play Arcade Mode. That's the real game. Or see how far you can get in Real Life Mode.
This ran over. I started at 4, when I was supposed to start ("started" loosely, I sat around being fucked up for half an hour) but instead of finishing at 6 I finished at 8. Oh well!
This is a prototype for a more complicated game I'm planning to make and name The Nervous System. In its current form, it's basically a slightly weird form of Snake.
Mac and Windows versions included. My score was 25.
EDIT: PS, source code https://bitbucket.org/runhello/nervous
This is inspired by netgrind's SSSnake series (which was made into the compilation game Snakes on a Cartesian Plane). It was also primarily inspired by the "dreams" in Run, as well as DefeatMe.
Eat the yellow squares. Eating two yellow squares will create a new snake for you to control, turning the old snake into a looping obstacle.
Controls:
Arrows - direct the snake. You can wrap around the screen.
Other keys - press when you die to restart.
